weak and unfitting parts

I recently received and attempted installation of the above motor. Motor attachment went well, but when I attempted to fit the connectors on the motor to the provided female ends on the esc, there was no fit. When I tried to replace the connectors to better items, the wire installation simply stripped off the three wires from the motor. The wires were a single strand, of approximately 24 gauge (+ or -). they are very weak, and very difficult to solder. Disappointing.
