The Tandem dual-band receivers stand out from other FrSky 2.4Ghz or 900Mhz receivers due to their ability to operate simultaneously at both 900Mhz and 2.4Ghz frequencies. This feature not only provides low latency signal and long-range control, but also enhances reliability and anti-interference performance.
To ensure a wide coverage for the remote signal, the Tandem series receivers use a triple antenna design. The newly designed small form factor 900Mhz antenna offers the same high-performance as previous 900Mhz antennas.
During flight, the Tandem receivers can record data related to power and signal under unusual conditions through a built-in black box module. TD R18 can also save complete and long-term data such as control and flight attitude data logs by SD card through the external module. Additionally, TD R18 provides a socket that allows connection to a switch panel/NFC Switch panel to enable the built-in Power Switch function.
Another notable feature of TD R18 is its configurable 18 channel ports, which can be assigned as PWM, SBUS, FBUS, or S.Port. With the FBUS protocol, the Tandem series receivers can seamlessly pair with multiple telemetry devices (such as Neuron ESC and Advance Sensors) and simplify builds setup.
