First Step RC Heli 101 Battery

I received this heli as a gift and am teaching myself to fly it following some beginner videos on how to fly. It’s been so windy where we are in Florida that it’s been quite difficult. I’m sure it should be a lot easier with little or no wind. I can say having crashed it several times it’s holding up quite well. Very very little to no damage. I’ll keep on trying when I get back to Connecticut where I know the wind will be more calm.

So easy to fly.

Nice helicopter for beginner.
I bought this helicopter for a 9 year old who has never flown anything before. After about 10 minutes of ground training he was able to fly the helicopter using simple motions with the controls. Helicopter is very durable and stable in flight.
Some cons are: Hard to control in wind over 4 miles per hour.
Extra batteries can be hard to find & are expensive.
Can only charge batteries with charger that comes with RTF kits. Other chargers won’t work. No warning when battery is low.
