Great Radio

I previously had a Qx7s and although a good transmitter the Tx16s has a lot more bells and whistles. The color screen is very nice and easy to use. The help form Buddy RC was also very helpful in deciding to make the switch.

Radio Master TX16S MKII MAX

This is my second Radio Master TX16S that I have bought from Buddy RC, and I would not buy anywhere else. Spoke with Dan at Buddy RC with product support, and I have been wanting one of these radio's for about 6 months, but never pulled the trigger until Dan let me know that he would do the firmware update and assign switches the way I like them and adjusted the radio for me before I got it. He went out of his way to help me get into a radio I never would have understood. Now I have bought 2 of them and they work great for my helicopter and simulator and I am learning how to program it myself. It is hard to find product support like that these days. Thank You Buddy RC and Dan!!!

A lot of radio for very little money

After using the big name radios for nearly 40 years, I decided to try one of the new offerings from Radiomaster. I purchased the TX16S Mk II Max and really didn’t expect the quality I had grown used to with my high dollar transmitters. The grip is awesome, it feels so good in the hands. The gimbals feel as good or better than the most expensive transmitters I’ve used in the past. The 4 in 1 format allows me to use it with all of my existing receivers. The module bay gives me plenty of upgrade options. This is my first Open Tx or Edge TX based radio so I was a little worried about figuring out how to program it. It has not been as difficult to learn as I feared, in fact the programming is fairly intuitive after you’ve done it a couple times. So far range is good with one exception, the little Hobbyzone Sport Cub S 2 I have doesn’t have the range of my other BNF models, it gives me RSSI alarms at about 30 meters away. All of my other BNF models have excellent range so it may just be the one receiver or just the little UMX versions.
I am very happy with the TX16S and plan to use it as my main radio for many years to come. I never expected to get so much radio for such a low cost. If you’re in the market for a new transmitter, get one of these.

Available in 4in1 and ELRS versions

Here are the tips for you to choose 4in1 or ELRS, reviews by OscarLiang

"If you can’t decide between ELRS and 4in1, I’d probably go for the ELRS version. It’s going to be the major RC protocol in the near future as it’s so powerful and affordable, with a wide range of tiny and inexpensive ELRS receivers available.

One reason to get the 4in1 is if you only want to use other protocols such as Frsky D8/D16, but these are kind of obsolete and slowly phasing out. Or if you are buying an external ELRS module for the radio, then it also makes sense to get the 4in1 as you don’t want to have another ELRS module onboard doing nothing. An external ELRS module might have the advantage of higher maximum output power of up to 1W. But honestly the internal module’s 250mW is plenty for FPV pilots, giving you miles of range in ideal conditions. "

V4.0 HALL GIMBALS

Standard version with V4.0 Hall Gimbals, same chipset as the AG01, optimized hall sensor circuitry, improves center point positioning and temperature stability. Stick travel, self-centering and stick tension are now externally adjustable
